Two More Qualify for Monster Jam World Finals XIX

A pair of Monster Jam drivers who competed on Stadium Championship Series 2 will be joining series champion Charlie Pauken at Monster Jam World Finals XIX on March 23-24 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
Eleven-time World Champion Tom Meents (Max-D™) will return to the competition for his 18th appearance. Meents is the all-time leader in racing competition with a 45-10 record. His journey to this year’s competition saw him amass an 8-6 racing record. He captured three Two-Wheel championships, picking up a win in Orlando and a pair of victories in Oakland. Meents also scored Freestyle wins in San Diego and Oakland.
Scott Buetow (Team Hot Wheels™ Firestorm) has earned an at-large berth to join the competition in Las Vegas. Buetow earned the distinction of being the only driver in Monster Jam World Finals to include four backflips in a single Freestyle run, pulling off the feat in 2017. He also has the distinction of holding the record for consecutive Stadium Freestyle victories, running off a string of seven in a row in 2016. Buetow has competed in five previous Monster Jam World Finals.
A total of 31 drivers will be selected for Monster Jam World Finals XIX. The 32nd competitor will be the winner of the Double Down Showdown. Tickets are on sale now.
