Triple Threat Champions

Authored by Monster Jam on November 15, 2022

It came down to the final weekend, but the champions of the Triple Threat Series have successfully reached the pinnacle of the competition standings.

Cole Venard/Grave Digger®, Triple Threat Series West presented by AMSOIL

For the second consecutive year, Cole Venard powered Grave Digger to a Series Championship. His 2017 season saw him take the series lead in Sacramento in the third week of competition. His strengths came in the Racing and Freestyle events and his steady performance allowed him to keep Jared Eichelberger and Max-DTM at bay.

Tyler Menninga/Grave Digger, Triple Threat Series East

Capturing the title by 21 points, Tyler Menninga has escalated his game to reach the Monster Jam World Finals® XVIII field. His strengths have centered on Freestyle. His moonwalks and special tricks have thrilled fans in the arenas and in social media and video postings seen worldwide.

Justin Sipes/MegalodonTM, Triple Threat Series Central presented by AMSOIL

Sipes will get his first test in a stadium environment with a bid to Monster Jam World Finals. The former Supercross and Arenacross competitor always had his sights set on a big event in Las Vegas and has made it with this championship. He led the series from the first event in Nashville, despite a late season push from Camden Murphy in Pirate’s CurseTM.

The latest announcements brings the field of competitors to 22 with nine spots yet to be determined. Truck and driver lineups are subject to change. For a full list of announced competitors, visit the Monster Jam World Finals Garage.
