Morgan Kane and Team Grave Digger® got off to a strong start in Portland, Oregon, to pad their series lead in the West Tour for the 2016 Monster Jam® featuring the AMSOIL Series. On the strength of wins in every Racing competition for the weekend’s opening event, Grave Digger tallied six points, the highest for the team this season, and claimed the event championship.

Coty Saucier and Team Monster Energy® claimed the Saturday night event championship on the strength of a narrow Freestyle win over Colton Eichelberger and Team Max-DTM. Each team was able to bring three points from the competition, but the tiebreaker belonged to Monster Energy.

The Sunday finale saw Tyler Menninga claim his first event championship with Team Blue Thunder®, picking up four points to remain in fourth place in the series standings.

Sunday was also a big moving day for Grave Digger as three more points were gained through the competition. The showing was enough to propel Grave Digger into a double-digit lead in the points to date. Winner of the series will be receiving an automatic bid to the Monster Jam World Finals® XVII, now just a month away on March 17-19.

With 22 events completed, the series will move to Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the next showdown.
