The road to Monster Jam World Finals® XVII has passed through dozens of cities in 2016, giving Monster Jam® drivers a chance to thrill and excite fans from coast to coast.

Social media was abuzz this past week with a special trick from Ryan Anderson and Son-Uva Digger®, who was also recently announced as a participant in Monster Jam World Finals XVII. During his Cleveland performance, Anderson nailed a stoppie, putting the Monster Jam truck on its front tires in a reverse wheelie, then drove the truck backwards to the obstacle. It gave Cleveland fans something never before seen in competition.

Randy Brown (Grave Digger®) has won 26 of his 27 races in competition this season while also claiming 13 Monster Jam Freestyle titles. Jon Zimmer (Grave Digger®) leads all competitors with 13 Wheelie wins and 13 victories in the Speed & Skill competition; a competition that is part of Monster Jam arena shows.

Some first year drivers are making waves among the veterans. Tony Ochs is building the fan base for Soldier Fortune Black OpsTM, adding wins in arena Wheelies and stadium Donuts to his rookie resume. Linsey Read has tamed Scooby-DooTM to stay in the competition every week, winning three Freestyles among tough competition. Last week, Brandon Vinson, driving ZombieTM, won a stadium Donut competition in his first event, claiming the win in Arlington, Texas.

The work of new drivers is a critical consideration to the 2016 Young Guns ShootoutTM, held in conjunction with Monster Jam World Finals XVII, now less than a month away (March 17-19). Watch www.monsterjam.com for updates on all of the great activity that will be a part of the special show that you don’t want to miss.
