There’s a new face in the Racing and Freestyle competition for the upcoming Monster Jam World Finals® XX in Orlando on May 10-11. By winning the Triple Threat SeriesTM Central title, Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger®) has earned the right to compete in his first Monster Jam World Finals.

Vinson, who started his career as a crew member, competed in the Showdown in 2018, finishing as runner-up to champion Cory Rummell.

In 2019, Vinson appeared in 44 events, capturing his title at the Saturday afternoon engagement in Columbus, Ohio. After falling as far as third in the early standings, Vinson put on a strong charge to take the lead for good at the midpoint of the tour. His strength was being able to perform near the top with double digit wins in all but one of the elements that make up a Triple Threat Series event.

His racing record was 38-21, earning him 14 racing titles. He captured 29 2 Wheel SkillsTM victories and 27 Event Championships. There were over 20 wins in Donut competition and 18 Freestyle titles.

Vinson becomes the fourth competitor to qualify for the field of 24 that will face off in Racing and Freestyle. Additional competitors will be announced in the days ahead.

Monster Jam World Finals XX will feature several new competitions, creating more champions and providing more action for fans from around the globe. Tickets are available here.
