More Double Down Competitors Announced

The Double Down Showdown® provides the perfect opportunity to allow Monster Jam athletes to showcase their abilities. The field of 16 continues to grow with four additional competitors accepting the invitation to compete. The Double Down Showdown is held on Friday, March 23, part of the Monster Jam World Finals® XIX at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
The latest group has spent the year as part of the Triple Threat Series that has competed in arenas across the country.
Ami Houde (Zombie™) will return for a second shot at the Double Showdown. The second-year competitor has utilized her extensive motorsports background to ramp up her skills in the 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks. She ranks among the most popular Monster Jam athletes.
Mark List (El Toro Loco®) made an immediate impact in Double Down Showdown competition with his 2017 appearance. List picked up a pair of wins before bowing out in the Semi-Finals to eventual champion Tristan England (EarthShaker®). In 2018, List gained five Freestyle Championships and a trio of Racing wins while competing with Triple Threat Series East.
Kayla Blood (El Toro Loco) was a competitor with the 2018 Triple Threat Series Central. During the year, she competed in 60 races and claimed a pair of Racing titles. She had three Event Championships and four Freestyle wins. This will be her third appearance in the Double Down Showdown, where she has been the fourth fastest qualifier and holds a record of 1-2.
Tony Ochs (Soldier Fortune Black Ops™) made his Double Down Showdown debut in 2016 and will return for a second appearance. Competing on the Triple Threat Series Central trail, Ochs scored two Racing Championships and a pair of Freestyles to go along with other series accolades.
