Monster Jam World Finals XIX Racing Odds

Monster Jam fans will be flocking to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas for a night full of incredible competition and excitement when 32 teams embark on a journey each of them hopes will end in claiming the 19th Monster Jam World Finals Racing Championship. Once again, I’ll become an amateur handicapper and set the odds, using previous MJWF experience, other stadium racing success, as well as momentum from this season’s Championship Series competitions to determine the favorites and the long shots.

Defending champion Ryan Anderson and his Son-uva Digger team roll into Vegas as the favorites to win the trophy again. History has proven that momentum can carry from one year to the next in this racing bracket. While the freestyle world champ has only been able to defend the title once in the previous 18 Monster Jam World Finals, it has happened five times previously in racing. On another four occasions, the defending champ made it all the way through the bracket to the finals the next year, but lost in the championship race. So, history is on the side of Son-uva Digger.

Note that never before have I had so much young talent ranked so highly, something that reflects the amazing influx of new athletes that have been rising to the top the past few years. Morgan Kane, Tyler Menninga, and Coty Saucier are all listed among the top six. It’s a great mix to see that younger talent set to go head-to-head with the likes of Tom Meents, Neil Elliott, Adam Anderson and others who have put down so many great runs through Thunder Alley over the years.

Thirty-two dreams of winning the 19th Monster Jam World Finals Racing Championship are in focus, but only one can be realized Friday night at Sam Boyd Stadium. Here are the odds for the Monster Jam World Finals XIX race program. As always, these odds are presented “for recreational purposes only”:
