Stadium Championship Series Red
Points leader Tom Meents (Max-D) recorded his fourth event championship of the year while Cole Venard (Black Pearl) grabbed his first event championship of 2022 as the series visited Ford Field in Detroit. Meents captured the Great Clips Skills Challenge for each event. Racing wins went to Todd LeDuc (Blue Thunder) and Bryce Kenny (Great Clips Mohawk Warrior). LeDuc added a Freestyle win with Cynthia Gauthier (Lucas Stabilizer) gaining her second of the year. Meents leads LeDuc by 16 points and the margin will remain until the series returns to stadium action in Seattle on April 2.
Stadium Championship Series Yellow
Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger) recorded a perfect night on Saturday in Anaheim, sweeping every event for his eighth event championship and fourth in Angel Stadium in 2022. Camden Murphy (Bakugan Dragonoid) nearly repeated the feat on Sunday, falling short by finishing second in Freestyle to Bari Musawwir (Zombie). The series heads east with a stop in El Paso, TX for two events March 5-6. Anderson’s lead is now 48 points over Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger).
Arena Championship Series Central
Elvis Lainez (El Toro Loco) and Blake Granger (Max-D) were double winners by capturing event championships during the series stop in Rosemont, IL. Tony Ochs (Soldier Fortune Black Ops) capped the weekend with his second event championship of 2022. Granger and Zack Garner (Wild Side) were double winners in Racing. Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) won a pair of 2-Wheel Skills battles. Lainez scored two Donut wins with five different competitors recording Freestyle wins. Anderson’s lead over Ochs has diminished to eight points as the series sits out this weekend, getting back in action in Austin, TX on March 12.
Arena Championship Series East
Five events in Allentown, PA made a busy weekend for the series to close off a busy February. Weston Anderson (Grave Digger) captured three event championships with Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) and Coty Saucier (Dragon) joining the winners list. Saucier was a three-time winner in Racing with Anderson capturing three 2-Wheel Skills competitions. Anderson dominated Donuts with four wins and matched that in Freestyle action. The margin between points leader Anderson and current challenger Saucier has jumped to 34 points as the series prepares to visit Little Rock, AR March 5-6.
Arena Championship Series West
Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger) recorded two event championships in Wichita, KS with David Olfert (Jurassic Attack) prevailing in the Saturday evening action. Vinson has now recorded 17 event championships in 25 events. The racing action was a double win for Vinson with Olfert taking one title. Vinson swept 2-Wheel Skills but was shut out of Donut competition with two wins going to Megalodon (Bernard Lyght) and a single victory to Myranda Cozad (Scooby-Doo). Freestyle wins were recorded by Vinson, Olfert and Darren Migues, who was making an appearance in Nitro Menace in his home state. Next action finds the series in Portland, OR March 5-6.
