Monster Jam Weekend Recap - First Female Series Champion Crowned

Arena Championship Series Central
Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) secured her first series championship, becoming the first female series champion in Monster Jam history and in the process securing her bid to Monster Jam World Finals XXI. Anderson opened the weekend in Manchester, NH with an event win, but did not clinch the title until the final day of the championship chase. Throughout the weekend, Krysten claimed two Freestyle wins and a pair of Donut championships. Elvis Lainez (El Toro Loco) won a pair of Racing events and brought home the final event championship. Zack Garner (Wild Side) was an event champion, thanks in part to a Saturday evening Freestyle win, his second of the year.
Arena Championship Series East
The series concluded in Charleston, WV with a different champion for each event. Series champion Weston Anderson (Grave Digger), Brianna Mahon (Whiplash) and Armando Castro (El Toro Loco) shared the spotlight. Anderson swept Freestyle with three wins to raise his season total to 27 Freestyle wins. Castro was a two-time winner in 2-Wheel Skills and added a Racing win. Coty Saucier (Dragon) won a pair of Racing titles.
Arena Championship Series West
Though the points season had concluded, several competitors from the series ventured to the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI for more action. Arena Championship Series West champion Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger) continued his winning streak with three event championships. Dave Olfert (Jurassic Attack) claimed two Racing wins while Travis Mowery (Rockwell R.E.D.) laid claim on the remaining showdown. Myranda Cozad (Scooby-Doo) notched a Saturday afternoon Freestyle win.
