
Monster Jam Weekend Recap - Champions Crowned

Tom Meents and Brandon Vinson locked up their tour championships and have earned automatic bids to Monster Jam World Finals XXI.
Stadium Championship Series Red

The series wrapped up the 2022 competition by marking Monster Jam’s first appearance at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT. The two title contenders Tom Meents (Max-D) and Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) each had first round byes in Racing, but both were eliminated by eventual Racing champion Cole Venard (Black Pearl). Meents captured the series championship with a second-place finish in the Skills Challenge, losing to Todd LeDuc (Blue Thunder) by .001 in Judges Zone scoring. Ryan Disharoon (Saigon Shaker) captured his first Freestyle event of 2022.

Stadium Championship Series Yellow

The series has concluded its championship chase, but several competitors paid a visit to Wilkes-Barre, PA for four events in the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger) dominated with three event championships while Charlie Pauken (Monster Mutt) prevented the sweep with the Saturday night event title. Menninga grabbed every 2 Wheel Skills competition and gained three of the four Freestyle titles. Mike Christensen (Vendetta) and Bari Musawwir (Zombie) each claimed two Donut championships.

The chase for the title tightened as the series races to its conclusion without a clear winner at this point. Tony Ochs (Soldier Fortune Black Ops) gained ground on points leader Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger) as Ochs nailed down two event championships with Jon Zimmer Jr. (Terminal Velocity) claiming the other. Ochs won two of the 2 Wheel Skills Challenges while Zack Garner (Wild Side) was a two-time winner in Racing. Elvis Lainez (El Toro Loco) was best in two of the Freestyle events.
Arena Championship Series East

The series was idle and will be returning to action for a final 2022 points event in Charleston, WV May 7-8.

Brandon Vinson (Grave Digger) captured his third series championship as Arena Championship Series West visited Colorado Springs, CO. Vinson sealed the deal in the Friday night Racing to add the 2022 title to his crowns from 2019 and 2020. Vinson kept on the throttle through the rest of the weekend, sweeping 2-Wheel Skills and taking three wins in Freestyle. Tristan England (EarthShaker) did not walk away from the weekend empty handed, adding an event championship and two Racing wins.
