Menninga Wins Triple Threat Series East

Authored by Monster Jam on November 15, 2022

Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger®) has claimed his fourth consecutive season championship, winning the 2020 points battle in the Triple Threat Series™ East.
Menninga held a slim lead after the opening weekend in Birmingham and built it up after the next stop in Greensboro. The lead vanished on the series’ appearance in Kansas City, when Kayla Blood (Soldier Fortune™) and Blake Granger (Max-D™) slipped past Menninga before the series headed to Washington, D.C.
Competing in the Nation’s Capital, Menninga closed the gap on Granger and re-captured the lead when the tour stopped in Providence. From there, Menninga held the top spot, even though engine problems late in the season in Baltimore threatened to hamper the championship effort.
Menninga closed the year by capturing the final two Event Championships, clinching the championship by winning the Speedster Obstacle Course competition during the Saturday show.
In 2020, Menninga amassed a Racing record of (44-8) in head-to-head competitions and won a total of 22 Racing Championships. His 19 Freestyle wins helped lead to 19 Event Championships. Menninga has more than 150 Freestyle wins and over 150 Event Championships in his five-year career.
