Just two weekends remain for the West Tour of the 2016 Monster Jam® featuring the AMSOIL Series. Hopes are dimming for those who need to gather valuable points in pursuit of the series championship and the automatic bid to Monster Jam World Finals® XVII.

Series point leader Team Grave Digger® and Morgan Kane fell back a bit early in the weekend, but used the final show on Sunday at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, to pull nearly 10 points ahead of Team Max-DTM  and Colton Eichelberger. Grave Digger claimed the event championship on Sunday, thanks to a second straight Freestyle win and victories in Monster Jam Racing and the ATV Main.

Team El Toro Loco® and athlete Kayla Blood won three of the four Donut competitions for the weekend and added a victory in an ATV Main for a successful outing. Throughout the weekend, 2015 Young Guns ShootoutTM  champion Coty Saucier and Team Monster Energy® was a double winner in Monster Jam Racing and Speedster Racing, and continued to impress fans in the Wheelie competition with three wins. The effort was not enough to make up significant ground on the leaders and Team Monster Energy remains in third.

A three-show weekend is next on the schedule for the West Tour as the series heads for Nampa, Idaho and the Ford Idaho Center.
