First Two Driver Spots Clinched for World Finals XXI
Authored by Monster Jam on April 13, 2022
Ryan Anderson and his younger brother Weston Anderson are the first two drivers to clinch a spot in Monster Jam World Finals XXI.
Both drivers earned their spots by winning their respective tour championships last weekend.
Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger Hoonigan) won the Stadium Series Yellow Championship last weekend in Syracuse, NY. With a 74-point lead over Tyler Menninga (Grave Digger), there is not enough time left in the season for anyone to take the points lead from him. Ryan will look to add to his tally of World Championships at Monster Jam World Finals XXI, having already won Racing in 2017 and Freestyle in 2018.
Rookie phenom Weston Anderson (Grave Digger) clinched the Arena Series East Championship last weekend in Southaven, MS. In just his first season behind the wheel of a Monster Jam monster truck, Weston has pulled over 100 points clear of all of the other competitors in his tour.
