With Monster Jam World Finals® XVIII presented by NGK looming just weeks away, anticipation is building as to the competitors who will receive an invitation to Las Vegas. This year’s World Finals will open with the Double Down Showdown on Thursday, March 23. The winner will move on to join the Friday Racing and Saturday Freestyle competition to round out a field of 32 Monster Jam® trucks.

The competitors in the FS1 East and FS1 West series were chasing an automatic bid to Monster Jam World Finals, offered with the series championship. With the completion of the schedule, the two champions become the first to start making their plans for the Monster Jam World Finals presented by NGK.

FS1 East champion Linsey Weenk (Lucas Oil CrusaderTM) will be making his 12th World Finals appearance, competing in Lucas Oil Crusader for the seventh straight year. He has a 14-11 racing record in competition and has finished in the top 5 (2014) in Freestyle.

Todd LeDuc (Monster Energy®) will be making his sixth World Finals appearance. He was the 2014 Freestyle Champion and added a second World title the following year in Racing. He was runnerup to Morgan Kane in the Racing finals last year. He holds an 11-4 racing record in World Finals competition and his Freestyle average of 28.7 is the highest among all World Finals competitors.

Watch for additional announcements as the field of competitors for all events will be announced in the days ahead.
