The Arena Championship Series season went down to the last competition as the champion was crowned Sunday afternoon in Toledo, Ohio. Cam McQueen (Northern Nightmare®) carried a four-point advantage into the final day over Pablo Huffaker (Grave Digger®). The margin stretched to 12 points by the middle of the show, but Team Grave Digger came back to cut the margin to six with Freestyle remaining. Grave Digger won Freestyle, but Northern Nightmare’s third place finish was enough to secure the championship.

Cam McQueen told the Toledo crowd that he was disappointed last year when he finished second and vowed he wouldn’t do that again. He said his team and his fans deserved better and this championship would confirm that. He dedicated the season to his father, who had passed away recently.

McQueen and Huffaker were consistently at the top of the field, challenging each other throughout the 10 weeks of competition. McQueen secured 20 Racing Championships throughout the 2018 competition. He will make his 11th Monster Jam World Finals appearance on March 23-24 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
