The Monster Jam stars of tomorrow  get their chance to shine in the seventh edition of the Double Down Showdown® at Sam Boyd Stadium on Friday, March 23.. The winner of this 16-truck tournament earns the final spot in the field for Monster Jam World Finals® XIX.

No competition in Las Vegas has been easy to predict in previous years and this event may be the most unpredictable of any. Take 16 hungry young athletes with limited laps on the toughest race track of the season and anything can happen. Everyone has a chance in the Double Down Showdown.

In setting the odds, I put a premium on previous experience on the Sam Boyd track while acknowledging that it is a small sample size in each case. Those who put down the fastest runs in last year’s Double Down Showdown are rated as this year’s favorites, with Max-D’s Jared Eichelberger the top choice here by a slim margin over Mark List and El Toro Loco.

Here are the odds for the Double Down Showdown and, as always, they are presented “for recreational purposes only”.

7-2 Jared Eichelberger Max-D
5-1 Mark List El Toro Loco
11-2 Camden Murphy Pirate's Curse
