Coming to Nashville
Authored by Larry Jewett on June 21, 2018
This weekend, Monster Jam will make a June appearance at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, as a field of 14 top competitors will compete in Racing, 2 Wheel Skills and Freestyle on the banks of the Cumberland River.
This year’s show marks the third visit and each of the previous winners will be looking to add another victory to their records.
Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger®) became the first Nashville stadium winner by capturing the Racing competition in 2016 and Scott Buetow (Team Hot Wheels™ Firestorm) claimed the Freestyle action.
Last year, Linsey Weenk (Lucas Oil Crusader™) picked up a Racing win and the Event Championship. Tom Meents (Max-D™) dominated 2 Wheel Skills with Adam Anderson (Grave Digger®) getting the best of the field in Freestyle.
The 2018 event will feature the debut of BroDozer™, marking the first time a diesel-powered truck has been involved in Monster Jam competition. BroDozer will be driven by Heavy D, of the Discovery Channel TV program “Diesel Brothers”, who has undergone extensive training at Monster Jam University.
