Camden Murphy (Bakugan Dragonoid) was 0.001 away in fan voting from taking home a perfect score Saturday night in Cleveland.
The part-time NASCAR driver has been making headlines the past couple of weeks after taking the overall last weekend in Nashville just one day after he had competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

Murphy backed that up this weekend by scoring 35 out of a maximum 36 points at the FirstEnergy Stadium.
Twelve Monster Jam trucks were competing, meaning a maximum for 12 points were on the line for each of the three competitions (Racing, Skills and Freestyle).
Murphy opened the night by defeating Bari Musawwir in Zombie to take the win in Racing. Up next was Skills, where Murphy scored an impressive 9.356, but Mark List’s 9.357 in El Toro Loco took the win by the narrowest of margins.
Things remained close in Freestyle, with Murphy winning with a 9.627, just 0.002 above Bari Musawwir in Zombie on a 9.625.

A 1st, 2nd, and 1st meant that Murphy took the overall with 35 out of a possible 36 points.
Murphy has never had a perfect score in Monster Jam. His next opportunity to try and change that will be this weekend in New Orleans.
