The final four spots have been filled for the Double Down Showdown®. The racing event, which is part of the Monster Jam World Finals® XIX, will be held on March 23 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The winner of the Double Down Showdown will participate in the Racing and Freestyle competitions for Monster Jam World Finals March 23 and 24.

Krysten Anderson (Grave Digger®) will be returning to Las Vegas for her second start in the Double Down Showdown. As part of the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series West in 2018, Anderson dazzled the crowds, winning 11 Freestyle events. The second-generation racer is seeking to join brothers Ryan and Adam, who will be competing in the main field of Monster Jam World Finals XIX.

Bernard Lyght (Alien Invasion™) lost to eventual 2017 champion Tristan England (EarthShaker®) in his first Double Down Showdown appearance and wants to use that experience to work through this year’s racing bracket. Lyght had to battle England all year long as a member of the Triple Threat Series West. Lyght recorded 21 racing wins on the year.

Camden Murphy (Pirate’s Curse) was a strong challenger in Triple Threat Series West in 2018. The 2017 Rookie of the Year picked up 17 Racing championships with a 56-13 record. He had 10 Event Championships and ended up in second place in the point standings. The visit to Double Down Showdown will be Murphy’s second.

Linsey Read (Scooby-Doo™) will be making her first appearance at Double Down Showdown. She competed on the Arena Championship Series, which ends competition on March 18. To date, Read has recorded eight Freestyle wins on the circuit. She made her Monster Jam Stadium debut in 2017 and will be utilizing that experience for the double Down Showdown.

The field has now been set with five competitors soon to be getting their first taste of competing in Las Vegas. The Double Down Showdown field will qualify on Thursday, March 22 to set the field. Racing will take place on Friday, March 23. Upon completion of Racing, the champion will then move into the Racing competition for Monster Jam World Finals XIX on the same night.
