    Building and fabricating high performance race vehicles.

    My dad, Rick Disharoon.
  • Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?
    I always yawn and drink sugar-free Red Bull.

    I raced BMX when I was young.

    Watching my first truck run.

    My beautiful wife, Amber and my family.

LIFE ON THE ROAD

  • What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?
    The best thing is seeing all the new places and fans. The worst thing is not being with my family.
  • While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?
    My favorite thing to do is go to new restaurants.
  • How do you keep fit?
    I follow a low-carb diet paired with sit-ups.
  • What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?
    I always have to have my phone and my hat.
  • What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?
    So far, it’s been Las Vegas. It was a lot of fun with interesting sights.

CAREER

 

  • How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?
    My father was the original driver and creator of Backdraft, so I decided to follow his footsteps.
  • What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?
    I love meeting all the new fans and the adrenaline rush I get from racing.
  • How would you describe your driving style?
    A little reckless, but in an effort to put on the best show possible for my fans.
  • What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?
    Never be afraid to follow your dreams and work hard to achieve your goals. That’s exactly what I did.
  • What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?
    My first time racing in a stadium at Ford Field.

    Adam Anderson and Ryan Anderson.
