About Me

What are some of your interests/hobbies/favorite pastimes?

Ryan Anderson: Spending time with my son Race and doing fun things with him that include motorsports and riding ATVs.

Who are your role models?

Ryan Anderson: My dad, Dennis Anderson.

Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?

Ryan Anderson: No real rituals but to do tend to get very tired just before a show. I think it’s more my body saving energy for the beating it’s about to take.

What is your favorite memory on or off the racetrack?

Ryan Anderson: My debut run in Son-uva Digger at Monster Jam World Finals in 2011.

What is your most prized possession?

Ryan Anderson: My house.

Life on the Road with Monster Jam

What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?

Ryan Anderson: Best thing is traveling with friends and being able to see the world! The worst is being away from my son.

While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?

Ryan Anderson: I like to go see the sights and I love trying to find cool things that you wouldn’t normally see.

What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?

Ryan Anderson: A rental car to be able to get around to all of the places we go.

What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?

Ryan Anderson: Orlando. I have a bunch of friends in the area!

How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?

Ryan Anderson: My dad, Dennis Anderson!

What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?

Ryan Anderson: Being able to make a whole stadium full of people stand up and yell after I put in a crazy freestyle run!

How would you describe your driving style?

Ryan Anderson: Technically out of control.

What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?

Ryan Anderson: Ride ATVs, dirt bikes, or anything else you can get your hands on to become a good driver.

What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?

Ryan Anderson: Debuting my truck.

Who in Monster Jam do you look up to for inspiration?

Ryan Anderson: My dad, Dennis Anderson and my brother, Adam Anderson.
