What are some of your interests/hobbies/favorite pastimes?
Cory Snyder
: I am a welder and fabricator on the weekdays. I also enjoy camping when I have the time and trail riding on my dirt bike.

Who are your role models?
Cory Snyder
: My dad (Jay Snyder) and Travis Pastrana.

Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?
Cory Snyder
: I like to walk around the track, listen to music when I can and loosen all my belts so that I can get in my seat quickly.

What is something a lot of people don’t know about you?

: I am an advanced open water certified scuba diver.

What is your favorite memory on or off the racetrack?
Cory Snyder
: My favorite memory was my first-time racing a Monster Jam truck. I got to race alongside my dad and I beat him in freestyle!

What is your most prized possession?

: My iPhone.

What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?
Cory Snyder
: Traveling long hours on the road can be stressful and tiring, but it’s all worth if putting on an awesome show for the fans.

While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?
Cory Snyder
: I like to watch videos of my competitions to improve my skills.

How do you keep fit?
Cory Snyder
: Eating well and constantly moving.

What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?
Cory Snyder
: My safety equipment.

What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?
Cory Snyder
: Washington, DC. It’s my hometown show and all of my family and friends come to cheer me on.

Career

How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?
Cory Snyder
: My dad competed in Monster Jam for 14 years and I was alongside him the whole time crewing and wrenching on the truck. He gave me an opportunity to drive his truck and I immediately loved it.

What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?
Cory Snyder
: The competition between the athletes. We are all pushing ourselves to win the overall event championship. With the passion we all have, it gives the fans the most memorable experience from start to finish!

How would you describe your driving style?
Cory Snyder
: Unexpected! This usually gives the fans the “wow factor” they crave.

What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?
Cory Snyder
:  Get an education and take risks. Open doors wherever possible and don’t be afraid of a challenge.

What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?
Cory Snyder
: Being a part of the Monster Jam University Class of 2018.

Who in Monster Jam do you look up to for inspiration?
Cory Snyder
: Jim Koehler. Jim is able to get every fan on the edge of their seats with his unforgettable performances and stunts.
