ABOUT COTY

Music, fishing, R/C cars, video games, fabrication and spending time with my family and friends. - Who are your role models?
My parents. Also Jim Kramer and Scott Hartsock. - Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?
Above my head in the truck on an aluminum plate are stickers and initials of close friends that have passed away. I always give it a fist bump before going out onto the track and sign of the cross. - What’s something a lot of people don’t know about you?
I have been involved in the Monster Jam industry since 2005, I really enjoy listening to Cajun/Zydeco music, I am a history buff, I enjoy yard work and I am Louisiana proud! - What is your favorite memory on or off the racetrack?
Capturing the 2015 Young Guns Shootout championship! - What is your most prized possession?
My health.
LIFE ON THE ROAD
- What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?
The best thing is living the Monster Jam life! This is something that I have always wanted to be a part of since I was a kid. The worst part of it is being gone from family and friends so often. - While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?
Listen to music, visit R/C shops and visit various racing teams/businesses. - How do you keep fit?
Maintenance on the Monster Jam trucks is a daily work out! - What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?
My cell phone, wallet and wristbands from friends who have passed away. - What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?
New Orleans. It’s full of culture, music, food, fun and it’s home! Not many people understand the way of life there unless they are from the area.
CAREER
- How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?
Volunteering my help with various Monster Jam teams. The first truck I actually got to work on was Randy Brown’s Pure Adrenaline truck driven by Frank Krmel. From there, the door was open for me and things happened quickly for my career. - What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?
Competing against the older guys – Dennis Anderson, Tom Meents, Gary Porter, Charlie Pauken, Neil Elliott and Pablo Huffaker and also visiting new places/cities. - How would you describe your driving style?
