Monster Jam in Canada

The road to Monster Jam World Finals® XVIII will make several stops in Canada leading up to the Las Vegas competition in 2017. As always, you can expect intense action at all Monster Jam® events.

The first stops actually occur on the same weekend in different provinces. The Rogers Centre in Toronto will present two stadium events on the weekend of January 28-29. The lineup includes Dennis Anderson in Grave Digger®, making his first Toronto start since 2009. He’ll be joined by 2015 Toronto Freestyle Champion Ryan Anderson in Son-uva Digger®, who won both events. The competition will be stepped up with two-time World Champion Madusa® and Scott Buetow in Team Hot Wheels™ Firestorm.

For those in Western Canada, the MTS Centre in Winnipeg will be the scene of arena action that will challenge the best of the best. Northern Nightmare®, with Cam McQueen at the controls, will be looking for another dominant performance. Last year, Northern Nightmare put up three perfect scores of 40 to win a trio of Freestyle competitions. The Saturday and Sunday afternoon shows feature Pit Parties to allow fans to meet the Monster Jam drivers.

The action moves to Edmonton’s Northlands Coliseum for three shows February 4-5. The 2017 show will feature the return of Grave Digger® as Randy Brown will have control of the truck during the Grave Digger 35th anniversary. It will mark the driver’s first appearance in Edmonton, giving fans a chance to become familiar with a proven Monster Jam superstar.

The tour heads east to London for three shows on Feb. 11-12. Northern Nightmare will be looking to extend a Freestyle win streak that has been going since winning the World Championship in 2012. Each year, Northern Nightmare has won at least one Freestyle competition in every visit to London. The win streak also includes wheelies and donuts, so the rest of the field will need to find a way to put a stop to it. Pit Parties will be held on Saturday and Sunday afternoon for a special treat for London fans.

April dates have been announced for Monster Jam fans in Canada. Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum will be the scene of four shows, April 7-9. Monster Jam will head to Hamilton's FirstOntario Centre for a pair of shows April 22-23
