Buddy Tompkins: I enjoy anything to do with motorsports.

Buddy Tompkins: I look to everyone. Each person has a value worth learning.

Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?

Buddy Tompkins: I always put my belts on in the same order.

What’s something a lot of people don’t know about you?

Buddy Tompkins: I am afraid of heights.

What is your favorite memory on or off the racetrack?

Buddy Tompkins: My favorite memory so far would have to be debuting in the truck in Tampa in 2014.

What is your most prized possession?

Buddy Tompkins: My wife and child.

What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?

Buddy Tompkins: Meeting new people and being able to see new places.

While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?

Buddy Tompkins: What’s free time? I try to get out and explore each town that I am in.

How do you keep fit?

Buddy Tompkins: I exercise and watch what my food intake is.

What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?

Buddy Tompkins: My cell phone. It helps me keep in touch with family.

What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?

Buddy Tompkins: There isn’t one in particular.

How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?

Buddy Tompkins: I was offered a position on my current team from of all things, small talk!

What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?

Buddy Tompkins: The fan interaction and being a role model for so many kids.

How would you describe your driving style?

Buddy Tompkins: Conservative.

What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?

Buddy Tompkins: Follow your dreams and never give up.

What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?

Buddy Tompkins: Racing in the Young Guns Shootout in 2016.

Buddy Tompkins: Every driver is an inspiration to me.
