History
“Here Comes the Boom.” The Monster Jam truck namesake of Ryan Disharoon’s mud truck, Shaker, is a custom Jeep-bodied creation of The Metal Shop that hit the ground running in 2014. It made its Monster Jam debut the following year at Ford Field in Detroit, marking the return of the Disharoon family to the circuit (Ryan’s father Rick was driver of Backdraft). The truck received a new chassis in 2017. Based on a 1967 Jeep, the name came about as a reflection of the time when the nation’s conscience was on the Vietnam conflict.
