Driver Tip #7 - Frank Krmel Driver of Blue Thunder: Keep an eye out for shortcuts (10/26/10)

"Circuit racing is a rally-style race that lets you drive your favorite monster trucks with other Monster Jam favorites at the same time. This lets you tear in and out of the stadiums on a circuit track in a 2 lap race that is just as much obstacle course as it is race track. Keep an eye out for some big jumps outside that you can use as a shortcut to pass your opponents and win the race! "

- Frank Krmel
Driver Tip #6 - George Balhan driver of Mohawk Warrior: Ride it out before you peel out (10/21/10)

"Driving a monster truck is like riding a wild beast. You need to make sure you have both hands on the reigns before you let it loose. For example, when you go off a huge jump, make sure you get that creature under control before turning or hitting the gas. Those giant tires and suspension are going to cause some secondary bounces, so stable out before tearing off to the next jump. Otherwise that 1500 horsepower engine is going to get out from under you and land you on your hood or off the track."

- George Balhan

Driver Tip #5 - Dennis Anderson Driver of Grave Digger: How To Win Stadium Racing (10/15/10)

"Stadium races are all about a short sprint of power and speed with a couple obstacles thrown in the mix. Make sure you take advantage of the straights and slow down enough for the turns. One wrong move in a stadium race and you are out of the bracket."

- Dennis Anderson
Driver Tip #4 - Allen Pezo Driver of Predator: Rear Steer For The Win(10/8/10)

"One of the coolest features of a monster truck is the ability to steer with the front wheels AND the rear wheels. Use this to your advantage by turning both front and rear wheels together for tight turns and dirt-spitting doughnuts. "

- Allen Pezo

Driver Tip #3 - Jim Koehler Driver of Avenger: How To Perform A Slap Wheelie (10/6/10)

"The slap wheelie is one of the most famous tricks in Monster Jam. To easily do a slap wheelie, jump and shift your weight forward in the air so the front tires land on the ground first. Those huge front tires will bounce when they hit the ground. When you see that happen, hit the gas and your monster truck will push forward, causing your front tires, which are already in the air, to raise up even higher for a sweet slap wheelie! "

- Jim Koehler
Driver Tip #2 - David Smith Driver of King Krunch: Master Tight Turns (9/30/10)

"Here is a tip straight from King Krunch driver David Smith. When you are driving full-boar down a straight track with a tight turn at the end, pick a sponsor banner on the side of the track and use that as your reference point to hit the brakes so you can still make the turn. That way you’ll always hit the turn at the right speed every time on that track because you’ll know right where to brake."

- David Smith

Driver Tip #1 - Jimmy Creten Driver of Bounty Hunter: Drive Like A Pro (9/23/10)

"Did you know that professional Monster Jam drivers steer mainly with the rear wheels? Those monster trucks are so powerful, that they can sometimes push these front tires around without getting enough traction. For better control, Monster Jam drivers steer mainly with the rear wheels, and only use the front wheels for minor steering adjustments. See if you can finish a whole race by driving with the rear wheels like a real Monster Jam pro!"

- Jimmy Creten
