      Indianapolis Colts should watch out because the sports fan in New Orleans are crazy for The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam just as much as their Saints. The Super Dome was electric tonight with the verge of the super bowl in sight and twelve of the best Monnster trucks ready to battle it out with the biggest freetyle obstacle to date.

      Qualifying was very fast on a surprisingly tacky course. With alot of moisture in the dirt you would think racing would be slower because of the thought of rolling the truck over, but that was not the case. Grave Digger led the way with the fastest time of 18.25 followed by a surprise from Jurasic Attack who was second fastest with a time of 19.12. Nitro Circus was third quickest with 19.59 as Taz pulled out a 19.77 for fourth. Stone Crusher round out the top five in qualifying with a 20.28.

      Racing Results

Round one: Grave Digger bye King Krunch (Broke), Mopar Magic def. Monster Mutt Dalmation, Nitro Circus def. Cult Activator, Stone Crusher def. Suden Impact, Taz def. El Matador, and Jurassic Attack def. Maniac.

Round two: Grave Digger def. Mopar Magic, Nitro Circus def. Stone Crusher,Jurassic Attack def. Taz.

Semi finals: Mopar Magic (fast looser) def. Grave Digger and Nitro Circus def. Jurassic Attack

Finals Nitro Circus def. Mopar Magic who rolled in the final turn.

      Freestyle was awesome from the start as the freestyle course was the biggest and wildest in Super Dome history. Adam Anderson drove Taz to another freestyle championship with some sick air and crazy cross threading. Monster Mutt Dalmation was also on her game as Jolly drove Mutt to a second place victory with a solid freestyle. Nitro Circus fell short of the double down trophy by rollin over with 20 seconds left in regulation and Grave Digger broke with only 20 seconds off the clock. Ricky Ownley in Mopar Magic had a wild ride with an end over end roll over that put him back on all fours to continue his run with a standing O. The two home town boys also put on a show for there beloved New Orleans fans. Sean Duhon and Ben Winslow had awesom action on the floor in the Cult Activator Truck and in Sudden Impact.
