The rain came down in Oregon. Not as bad as it could have been, but it was a steady rain that turned the raceway in to a quagmire. The drivers were blowing the tires offon the start line, as the horsepower outwayed the traction.

Saturday 2PM:
The rain came down again during the day show but held off for th night time performance. The rain didn't seem to effect the top pilots on the west coast swing. Well, the rain didn't bother anyone, but the competition did get to one of the drivers. Rick Swanson and Obsession felt that they were robbed of the racing victory during the afternoon, and then felt short changed in the main event during the night show, and made gestures of disgust to the officials. Too bad there was not instant replay, I think Rick might not have been so would up with a good replay of the races.

Roger Stidell in The Tire Factory Captain USA had a stellar hit in the sky wheelie contest to take the score. The youngster in the seat is the west coast equivelant of Jim Kohler when it comes to sheer adrinaline pumping thru their veins. Roger is totally stoked to run the truck for The Tire Factory and Jeff Bainter.

King Krunch had an electrical issue and was not able to make the main event, which put Obsession back in the main event, which was controversial, at least to the Obsession camp.
