Saturday 2PM & 7:30PM:

What a fantastic day and night the fans had in the Sprint Center.  The day was full of some of the best racing ever in Kansas City.  The freestyle was off the hook.  What a day.  I am still super hyped over the tremendous job all of the drivers did over the course of 2 shows in one day.
Jimmy Creten, at his hometown show, put it all on the track.  When he walked out of the Sprint Center on Saturday night, Jimmy and Bounty Hunter had performed above and beyond any expectations.  He wowed the crowd and made them proud of the hometown boy.  Jimmy hurt the truck in the afternoon show during the wheelie contest (which he won), breaking the rear steering and trashing the tranny.  He came back and won racing with only 1st gear.  The tied for the win in freestyle, with no rear steering and only 1st gear!!!
John Zimmer is going to be a guy to contend with.  Watch out Dennis, Tom, Pablo, Charlie, etc.  This dude knows how to drive and he is in it to win it, no matter what the competition is.  Zimmer and Shock Therapy, had a hard shot in Freestyle on Saturday night.  At the end of his run the truck got over on 2 wheels, and even though he tried his hardest he could not save it.  John was stoked as was the crowd.

Sunday:

My O My!! What a weekend in KC.  I had the best time and I know the fans did as well.  It was incredible.  The amount of instant replays to determine winners in drag racing was unbelievable.  Seemingly every race needed to be reviewed and the reviewed again.  Everyone of the drivers here is World Final caliber, in fact 3 of the drivers here are already in the field for the WF.

After Bounty Hunter took wins in both the racing and wheelie contest, it looked as if Jimmy Creten would sweep the board.  Unfortunately, Bounty broke a drive axle on the front right of the truck, making it a hazard for Jimmy to continue on.
