Friday -
(Calgary, AB) The Pengrowth Saddledome is home to the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames, the 1989 Stanley Cup Champions. History reveals that this storied building has hosted many a champion over the years, and 2009 would be no different. On February 13, 2009, the stars of Partsource Monster Jam invaded Alberta, led by two-time World Champion John Seasock in Batman. And judging by Seasock's performance on Friday night here at the Saddledome, he just may be ready to three-peat in Las Vegas on March 28, 2009 at the NGK Spark Plugs World Finals.

The Monster Jam Wheelie Competition was won by John Seasock in Batman with 21 points. Monster Mutt Dalmatian had a great Wheelie as well, en route to a score of 19. Arachnaphobia scored 16, while Sheer Insanity earned 15, TNT and Shattered tied at 14, and Western Renegade posted 12 points.

Monster Jam Racing Round One gave Batman the bye run, but Seasock entertained the fans with a blazing fast run nonetheless. Sheer Insanity stomped Arachnaphobia, while TNT ousted Western Renegade. The last Round One race saw Monster Mutt advance past Shattered.
The Racing Semi Final paired World Champion Batman against Sheer Insanity, with the champ racking up yet another win. The other Semi Final encounter was an all-female race, with Monster Mutt taking the victory over Kathy Willis in TNT.
The Crowfoot Ford Monster Jam Racing Final paired Monster Mutt Dalmatian against Batman. After a big win in the Wheelie Competition, John Seasock was confident he could make it two-for-two in racing. But Candice Jolly in Dalmatian had other ideas as she took full advantage of her awesome traction on the starting line, taking the big win over Batman in a stunningly close race.

Partsource Freestyle Competition was full of huge hits and even more carnage. Scott Anderson in Arachnophobia had a particularly strong run, as he pushed his ten thousand pound mount to a score of 19. Candice Jolly had an even better run in Monster Mutt Dalmatian has she captured tremendous air over the center pyramid. Her effort was good enough for a competition-leading score of 24 points. But it would be the Caped Crusader that would take the big win as John Seasock skillfully piloted Batman to some of the longest jumps ever witnessed inside the walls of the Saddledome.

The Partsource Freestyle score tallied as follows:
Sheer Insanity 15
TNT 13
Western Renegade 12
Shattered 9
Arachnophobia 19
Monster Mutt Dalmatian 24
Batman 27
FRESSTYLE WINNER: BATMAN!

As the drivers and crews prepare for three more events here in Calgary this weekend, there is no doubt that the competition is poised to heat up inside the walls of the Saddledome. The fans are ready for more Partsource Monster Jam, and the drivers are ready to deliver.
What more could you ask for?

Saturday 2PM -
(Calgary, AB) Following an enjoyable Pit Party, Saturday afternoon's Partsource Monster Jam began as scheduled at 2:00 P.M. And today's event would be all about the driver from Naples, Florida.
Seventeen-time national karting champion Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt was simply unstoppable, as she achieved a Triple Down by winning the Wheelie Competition, Monster Jam Racing, and Partsource Freestyle Competition. And although the rest of the competitors had several bright spots throughout the afternoon, no star shone brighter than Jolly. Her driving skill and truck control is simply something to behold, and she gave her fans everything today in this very loud building.

The Wheelie Competition scores tallied as follows:
Sheer Insanity 13
TNT 12
Western Renegade 10
Shattered 13
Arachnophobia 12
Monster Mutt Dalmatian 19
Batman 16

The Partsource Freestyle score ended as follows:
Sheer Insanity 16
TNT 15
Western Renegade 13
Shattered 20
Arachnophobia 22
Monster Mutt Dalmatian 26
Batman 25

The most exciting event of the day was certainly Monster Jam Racing, where Monster Mutt and Batman had a great battle and a photo finish. Jolly was ecstatic with her win, as was the crowd.
In other action, Pete Berreth picked up the Street Warriors win in a time of 18.32 seconds around the big oval.
The crews and drivers are now hastily preparing for tonight's 7:30 start here at the Saddledome in Calgary. Can the competitors battle back against a very tough Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt Dalmatian?
We'll find out in just a few hours.

Saturday evening -
(Calgary, AB) Despite their best efforts on Saturday night in the Pengrowth Saddledome, the Monster Jam drivers could not contain a red-hot Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt Dalmatian. Ever heard of a Double Triple Down? Well, with three wins on Saturday afternoon and three wins tonight, that is exactly what Candice Jolly accomplished.

Jolly finished on top of the Wheelie Competition with 26 points. Arachnophobia was second with 21, while Shattered finished third with 18 points. Sheer Insanity was fourth with 15, while TNT and Western Renegade tied with 12 points each. Batman was unable to compete in the Wheelie Competition due to mechanical problems. Seasock would return later in the event, however.

Monster Jam Racing Round One paired Monster Mutt against Arachnophobia, with Mutt taking the victory. Batman advanced past Sheer Insanity, and TNT took out Shattered.

Semi Final Racing action saw Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt Dalmatian dig past Fast Loser Sheer Insanity, and Batman blow by TNT.

The Racing Final was a classic battle between Monster Jam stars Monster Mutt Dalmatian and two time World Champion Batman. And once again, Candice Jolly would emerge as top dog. Her lightning fast reactions times have proved too much for her competitors all weekend long, and this time was no different. At the finish line, it was Monster Mutt Dalmatian by a tongue.

The drivers were hoping for better fortunes during Partsource Freestyle Competition, but sometimes momentum is an impossible thing to stop. Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt was once again spectacular as she powered her way to a competition-winning score of 28 points. Although Batman was close with 27 points, no one could quite dominate the event like Monster Mutt Dalmatian. Jolly flew the big dog through the air with ease and brought the house to its feet throughout her sixty second run.

The Partsource Freestyle score ended as follows:
Sheer Insanity 14
TNT 15
Western Renegade 7
Shattered 17
Arachnophobia 21
Monster Mutt Dalmatian 28
Batman 27

In other action, talented Street Warriors driver Lisa Hodges drove her All Juiced Up entry to a winning time of 19.89 seconds.

The fourth and final Partsource Monster Jam gets underway at 2:00 P.M. sharp on Sunday. Don't miss a second of the action as Monster Mutt Dalmatian goes for a Triple Triple Down here at the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Sunday -

(Calgary, AB) If you happen to be a competitor this year at the NGK Spark Plugs World Finals, then you'd better keep reading. Further, if you are a competitor and are:

a) not female
b) not Candice Jolly, then you might be in serious trouble when the lights go green in Las Vegas on March 28, 2009.

In a feat never before accomplished on the Partsource Monster Jam Canadian Tour, Candice Jolly finished the weekend with yet another Triple Down performance in Monster Mutt Dalmatian. That's right, three Triple Downs in a row, starting on Saturday afternoon and ending here today.

No one can say this weekend's performance was luck. In fact, Jolly took a wounded Monster Mutt Dalmatian into this final event and got the job done again in spectacular fashion. Fighting a badly leaking cooling system, even Jolly herself was unsure of her chances. But champions rise to the occasion, and seventeen-time National karting champion Candice Jolly left the field in her dust. Literally.

The day started with the Wheelie Competition, with Jolly emerging on top with a score of 17 points. Batman was second with 16, while Arachnaphobia and Sheer Insanity scored 15 each. TNT earned 13, while Barry Parkin in Western Renegade scored 11. Sheer Insanity was out for the night with a broken transmission input shaft, netting driver BJ Johnson no score in any of the three Monster Jam elements.
Monster Jam Racing Round One paired Sheer Insanity against Arachnaphobia, with Sheer Insanity taking the win in a very close race. Monster Mutt took out Western Renegade, while Batman snuffed out TNT.

The Semi Final pairings were very interesting, as teammates Sheer Insanity and TNT squared off in the first race. Although it was close, video replay proved that Sheer Insanity was the winner. The other race saw Monster Mutt defeat arch rival and World Champion Batman in yet another race that had to be decided by video replay.

The Monster Jam Racing Final was an opportunity for Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt Dalmatian to make it eight wins in a row against competitor Sheer Insanity. Jolly took full advantage, as she exploded off the starting line and took the big win, much to the delight of the Calgary crowd.

Partsource Freestyle Competition was much the same Jolly story, although this time John Seasock managed to tie Dalmatian's Freestyle score of 27 points. Both drivers had memorable performances, but Monster Jam judges decided that Candice Jolly was just a bit better. This gave Jolly the overall Freestyle win and her third Triple Down of the weekend. All in all, it was a record weekend from the talented driving phenom from Naples, Florida.

The Partsource Freestyle score ended as follows:
Sheer Insanity 19
TNT 15
Western Renegade 15
Shattered DNS
Arachnophobia 11
Monster Mutt Dalmatian 27
Batman 27
FREESTYLE WINNER: Monster Mutt Dalmatian!

In other action, Pete Berreth continued his dominance of the Street Warriors division, winning the weekend championship with a blazing fast run of 18.44 seconds.
The Partsource Monster Jam Tour will now take a bit of a breather as the crews get time to prepare for their next Canadian performance in beautiful London, Ontario in early March.
Until next time, keep yours on all fours!
