The cold weather let up for just a bit in the last few days, Fargo normally below zero at showtime, was in ths 30's during the day witch really made it beautiful outside and hot with action in the Fargodome!!!
In Monster Truck racing , qualifying was at a premium with the long and fast Fargo track. The car stacks were perfect and HUGE!!! Racing was fast, and furious and Tom Meents was the fastest qualifer with a fast time of 17.38.
Maximum Destruction won the first round over Full Bore(Ed Eckhart). Gravedigger (Chad Tingler) beat Brutus (Chris Bergeron). Rolling Thunder (Jim Bendzek) beat Spike (Rich Hilgendorf).
Semi - Final round saw Maximum Destruction flip over as he was trying to catch and edge out Gravedigger, but it was Digger to the final. Superman (Chad Fortune) put Rolling Thunder on the short list.
Final Round was Superman against Gravedigger and it was a 5 hit final!!! With Chad Tingler in Grave Digger with the win!!!
Autocross was a completey insane affair, as the Enforcer cars were not able to foil the leaders. The win went to Plato, Mn. driver Jamie Schlecheter.
Free Style was AWSOME with big,big air and massive tricks. Brody Wilkinson was the crowd favorite as he ended the U-Motors FMX show with two, yes two huge back - flips!!!!
The crowd was going ballistic by the time we went to Monster Freestyle!!! With the Fargo floor full of HUGE stacks and even a Motorhome it was a wild free style. almost every truck was close to turning over a some point durring their runs with Brutus going over and destroying his chassis.
