Recap:

It has been a wonderful first day here in warm Tucson, Az!! The Tucson Convention Center received people from all around the area who came to see all of their favorite Monster Trucks. El Toro Loco for the very first time in this arena. Chad Tingler on Grave Digger after a couple of years of absence in Tucson, had a great come back!

Three wins for Grave Digger with no doubt has left a mark here with all the Grave Digger Fans! All trucks were spectacular in this concrete arena in Tucson, which makes it a little bit more difficult to run, however, the expertise and skills of all the drivers showed as they made the best of every single competition!

In Monster Jam wheelie the high scores started coming from our audience judges who were amazed by the skills while jumping the crush cars to get those great wheelies!
McGruff….16 pts; Pit Bull…23pts; Monster Mutt… 25; Superman …23pts; El Toro Loco…25… Grave Digger (winner) 28 pts.

Monster Jam Racing:
Monster Jam Jam Racing went really crazy this time here in Tucson, especially when we have such a great sponsor such as Jack in The Box, who threw a great promotion for the MJ Fans. First, we started with the Jack in The Box Brack Position Drawing, which while giving the driver a bracket position for driving, it also gave a driver a section number, for which he would be racing. The winning driver and his section would get a free Jumbo Jack from Jack in the Box!!

Round One:

Monster Mutt vs Superman…Superman wins; El Toro Loco vs Pit Bull…El Toro wins; Mcgruff vs Grave Digger.. Grave Digger wins, and all of those who won went into the semi-final round of racing.

Semi-Final Round:

Superman vs Pitbull (fastest Loser)…Superman wins; El Toro Loco vs Grave Digger…Grave digger wins.

Final Round;

Superman vs Grave Digger… Grave Digger wins Monster Jam Racing, and so did section 219, all of them with free Jumbo Jacks from Jack in the Box!!!
Monster Jam Donuts.

The Monster Trucks, for sure, did not leave anyone disappointed. These were great donuts shown here tonight during a separate donut competition for the Tucson audience. Again,  judged by three judges from our audience the competition was tough! McGruff( Tucson’s own Monster Truck) came first to score  22pts. Pit Bull 17; Monster Mutt came out of that tunnel just raging fast and all around with those donuts, maintining the donuts going for at least 30 seconds at high speed, which gave the Mutt a perfect score of 30! Superman did great as well by going on with sustained donuts for a score of 27pts. El Toro Loco, in one of his specialties got a 29 pt score, and Grave Digger ( with some sort of problem on the truck) was only able to do a couple of donuts before he abandoned the track with a score of 17 pts. Our Winner Monster Mutt with a Perfect score. Lee O’Donell said if he had gone with sustained donuts for at least 30, to 35 seconds, he would try for at least 60 seconds tomorrow night!

Monster Jam Free Style.
Another great round of competition happened after all trucks were ready for Monster Jam Free Style. Once again judged by our three judges from the audience.
McGruff… 20; Pit Bull 21; Monster Mutt came close to another perfect score with a roaring engine and floored speed for wheelies, jumps over the high obstacles and crush cars for 29 pts. Superman scored 24; El Toro Loco 25; and last but not least; Grave Digger comes in with great horse power, and practically flying over the crush cars and our crushed van obstacle, which made the audience stand up and the judges to givee a perfect score of 30 pts. It had been Chad Tingler’s night in Tucson, while winning his last competition and making a triple Down here in Tucson!!

Quad Wars between Team Texas and Team Arizona gave also a reason for the audience to applaud and to boo and the same time. Team Texas came in really strong on the Quads and on the language used by Team Captain Jumbo Jack.  In spite of all efforts done by team Arizona, this was not their night. They lost the main round of Quad War racing to Team Texas, opportunity taken by the visitor to humiliate the local team!!

So Far, it has been a great night of competition, and I’m just looking forward for tomorrow’s competitions, when all drivers and riders will try to take revenge upon the winners!! We’ll Keep you updated!!!!!!! Until Then…. Signing off from Tucson, Az!!

Recap:

It has been a great weekend of Monster Jam Competition here in Tucson, Az. It has been a tremendous closing for some of the monsters competing here during this weekend.

Monster Mutt has finished Sunday with a winning streak of 3 victories. Donuts, Freestyle and Racing. Lee O'Donnell showed his excitement of winning a triple down in Tucson. It was no easy competition, judges were giving out very high scores to the competitors, so every time a Monster came out, the next had to improve de previous performance.

Monster Jam Wheelie.
Chad Fortune on Superman came out to do a great vertical line while jumping the crushed cars, and the landing on the front wheels was almost perfect, judges gave him for that 30 pts. Nearest score to that was that of Pit Bull with 25 pts, his highest score of the weekend, followed by Monster Mutt with 24. El Tor Loco (Lupe Sosa) floored the bull to do a great wheelie, that made him land on the back of truck and caused ti flip upside down. Same thing happened yesterday with McGruph's Murphy McCrory while doing his wheelie. El Toro scored 23 pts. Grave Digger 24, McGruff 19.

The track had been set for donuts and all the espectactors were waiting for one of their favorite competitions. Monster Mutt broke his own record set yesterday with 84 seconds performing donuts; Today he spinned for 90 seconds!! That gave him 29 pts!! Only closer to that score was El Toro and Superman witn 26 pts. Pit Bull 25, Grave Digger 20, and McGruff 14.

Monster Jam Free Style.
Monster Mutt comes back again with a great performance jumping over the crush cars, and over the high obstacle, at great speed, that gave him 30 points! Superman scored 29, Grave Digger 29,  El Toro Loco  26, Pit Bull 23, and McGruff 22 pts.

Monster Mutt's fans were on their feet celebrating the Triple Down for  the Mutt!!

In Quad War Competition, the rivalry between Team Arizona and Team Texas came back on the floor. After having Team Arizona defeating Texas twice in a row yesterday, the bad boys from Texas came all together to defeat Arizona on their own turf.  Team Texas took todays victory in Quad War racing. After all the pushing and kicking, and the Texas' captain smacking, there was only one response to the Quad War winner: Booooo!!! Texas' Captain Jack asked for it, since during interview he badmouthed Team Arizona, and the local audience!

Thank you Tucson for a great weekend, and see you very soon with more Monster Jam Competition!!! Hasta Pronto!!
