Weekend Race Recap

Saturday - 7:30PM

It was a “Giant” of an evening Saturday as Diehl Wilson and Anger Management took home three of the four events at the Thunder Nationals Event at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. Diehl, and the 2006 Ford from Winchester, Virginia captured the Advanced Auto Parts Thunder Nationals Doughnut competition, Freestyle and finally the racing competition defeating another veteran of the Thunder National circuit…Rick Raab and American Guardian. The Evening started off with the Wheelie competition…an exciting finish with Scott Poirier and Rick Raab tied with 19 and it took not one…not two…but THREE cheeroffs to determine Rick Raab the winner. There were wonderful surprises including “Bad Boy” Billy Coe from Farmington, New Jersey who jumped 4 Monsters with the Suzuki ATV Leap of Faith this along with the BMX riders pulling off countless backflips…it was an incredible evening.
