John Seasock powered his Team Suzuki truck to the win over Randy Brown and Grave Digger in the racing finals, then Brown claimed a dominating win for Team Grave Digger in freestyle to highlight the first of four Monster Jam events at Speedway 95 in Bangor, ME.
Seasock had Team Suzuki dialed in right from the start on the long straiht line course, beating Andy Slifko in Eradicator and Alex Blackwell in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to earn a berth against Grave Digger in the night's championship race. Seasock cut a great light in the finale, grabbing the lead at the starting line and beating Brown by a truck length at the finish..

Brown bounced right back by blistering the track for a winning Grave Digger freestyle, earning scores of 10 from all three judges to edge Eradicator by two points. Earlier Grave Digger won the wheelie competition and Matt Randall drove his Extreme Tonka 2 truck to the Street Warriors victory.

Randy Brown brought his broom to Bangor, ME, Friday night and drove Grave Digger to a clean sweep of all three Monster Jam competitions at Speedway 95.

In front of a standing room only crowd Brown opened the night victoriously with Grave Digger winning the sky wheelie competition, edging Alex Blackwell in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 27 to 24 in the scoring by the three Bangor Monster Jam fans serving as judges.

In the racing portion of the program Brown drove Grave Digger to wins over Andy Slifko in Eradicator and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to set-up a rematch of Thursday's championship race against John Seasock and Team Suzuki in Friday's racing final. This time Brown exacted Grave Digger's revenge, winning the race by half a truck length. Brown completed his unbeaten night with a freestyle performance that earned a perfect score of 30 from the judges.

The Street Warriors win went to John Killinger, who topped Bob Russell in the final round.

Saturday - 2:00PM -
Racing winner – Team Suzuki
Freestyle winner - Grave Digger

John Seasock put Team Suzuki back on top in racing while Randy Brown continued Grave Digger’s dominance in freestyle to highlight a wild show in steady rain and on a soaked, muddy course for Monster Jam at Speedway 95 in Bangor, ME.

With a huge crowd on hand despite the bad weather conditions Seasock beat popular New England native John Zimmer in Backdraft in the semifinals while Brown piloted Grave Digger to a final four win over Andy Slifko in Eradicator to set up a third straight meeting between Team Suzuki and Grave Digger in the Speedway 95 final round race. Like the previous two races the trucks were separated by less than a truck length at the finish line with Seasock bring Team Suzuki home a winner over Grave Digger for the second time out of the three weekend meetings.

Again in freestyle it was Brown and Grave Digger earning a perfect score of 30 from the judges in freestyle. Brown didn’t back off at all in the slick conditions again getting huge air combined with multiple sets of Digger Donuts in the Maine mud. At the end of the run not a speck of black or green was showing on Grave Digger, the truck now completely brown, covered in mud, with the fans on their feet screaming their approval.

The Street Warriors final round victory Larry Laney, who outran Thursday’s winner Matt Randall.

Saturday - 8:00PM -
Racing winner – Team Suzuki
Freestyle winner - Grave Digger

Randy Brown completed a weekend freestyle sweep with his fourth consecutive win in Grave Digger Saturday night at Speedway 95 in Bangor, ME, while John Seasock rounded out an impressive racing weekend by again putting Team Suzuki in the winner’s circle as the steady rain continued at the New England track.

Another outstanding crowd of hardy fans loved the action in the wet, muddy conditions with Seasock taking Team Suzuki to the final race again, this time beating Vermont driver John Zimmer and Backdraft in the semifinals. In the other bracket Alex Blackwell earned his first finals berth of the weekend when he topped Brown and Grave Digger in the semis. The championship race was another close one but again Seasock had enough to make team Suzuki the winner, giving Seasock the racing win in three of the four weekend events in Bangor.

Brown went one better in freestyle, making it a four for four weekend for Grave Digger. Saturday night’s performance was scored a 28 by the three judges, three

points better than Blackwell’s Turtle received. Again the fans delighted in all of the truck’s abilities to fly and cut mud-slinging donuts in the terrible weather, the rains not stopping anytime Saturday.

Wrapping up the weekend in Street Warriors Larry Laney recorded his second straight event win, this time topping Steve Subjo in the finale.
