Weekend Race Recap
Knoxville, TN (March 23-24, 2001)
Friday

Knoxville, TN got a lot of awesome Monster Truck action on Friday night. The drivers had a tough drive because the track was slick and sticky, but it obviously didn't stop anyone! Rap Attack, Taurus, Rambo, Devestator, & Bad News were all out tonight, and ready to run. Rambo took the Monster Truck Racing Competition first prize. Highlighting the Freestyle competition was Rap Attack, who won with an awesome wheelie, however, no one will forget Taurus. He rolled over right at the beginning of the show!!
There was an intense competition for Super Trucks causing a big grudge between men & women. Kathy Bowles won the main, and the women went nuts!! The crowd was also thrilled with Galactron & Reptar. They loved every minute of it!
Saturday

They couldn't be at the Monster Truck World Finals II in Las Vegas, and they couldn't even be at home watching it on Pay-Per-View! Why? Because they were too busy watching the action-packed show in Knoxville!!
In the tradition of last nights show, the same trucks took the same prizes with a whole new set of tricks. The track was much better for the drivers tonight. Rambo won the Monster Truck Racing Competition. The incredible run by Rap Attack highlighted the night, he did a reverse wheelie & car jump during the Freestyle Competition that was just killer!!

Once again, it was guys against girls in the Super Trucks, but Kathy Bowles didn't wanna give up her title. She won both the grudge and the main event. The crowd just couldn't get enough! And Galactron & Reptar thrilled the crowd, as if they could have been thrilled any more than they already were!!
