Friday Eight trucks competed in Albuquerque this weekend: King Krunch, Bustin Loose, Monster Patrol, Carolina Crusher, Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, Cyborg and Tuff E Nuff. It was King Krunch, driven by David Smith, that stole the show Friday night, he won monster finals and monster freestyle. The crowd loved him!
In monster news: Carolina Crusher debuted a new Dodge body.
Quads were great. Team New Mexico won in the end. They ran an elimination style of racing were the last guy to finish on each lap got the black flag. Until there was a side by side race between the two team leaders.
Saturday Saturday night Ron Nelson, driving Bustin Loose, tied with Cyborg in freestyle. After a crowd cheer-off Bustin Loose was named the winner. In side-by-side racing King Krunch was the big winner again on Saturday.
