Weekend Race Recap
E. Lansing, MI (February 23-24, 2001)
Black Stallion, Bulldozer, Carnivore, Rap Attack and Rambo competed this weekend in East Lansing. Black Stallion, driven by Mike Vatters, completely dominated friday night. He performed an awesome freestyle and was awarded with a perfect 30 points from the judges. It was also Black Stallion that was the big winner in side-by-side racing. Mike Vatters, truck is running awesome.
Bulldozer had some trouble Friday night he blew both of his front shocks and hit the ground like a rock! Rambo also had some trouble, but his was trouble was with the motor.
In quad wars it was Team Michigan State versus Team University of Michigan, the crowd went crazy as they rooted for Michigan State.
Saturday
Once again Mike Vatters and Black Stallion dominated on Saturday Night. Vatters performed a special reverse jump and cleared 8 crush cars! It was amazing. That of course won him the freestyle trophy. Vatters also won the second night in a row in side-by-side racing.
Bad news for Bulldozer on Saturday, he broke his front shocks again.
Michigan State won again in Quad Wars, after a huge fight broke out between State and U of M. It took a Captain's Challenge to settle the score.
