Weekend Race Recap
Anaheim, CA (January 11, 2003)

Saturday
Ok first of all, this show had tons of highlights. So where should we start? How about with Charlie Pauken and his unreal freestyle routine? Not only did he use every part of the floor, but he launched the truck 25 feet in the air over the freestyle stack. However, freestyle was a tie between Jurassic Attack and Grave Digger with a 29. Since there was a tie, the crowd got to vote by applause. Grave Digger won hands down!

Grave Digger also won racing but only after a great battle with Shocker driven by Pat Gerber. Gerber almost won, but racing was awesome!

In the quad wars, it was Team San Francisco vs. Team Anaheim, a World Series recap. San Francisco won the first heat and Team Anaheim won the second. In the final, Team Anaheim was leading when team San Francisco played a little dirty. The San Francisco team purposely took out the Anaheim leader. After a great dramatic interview, they ran a grudge match and Team Anaheim took the win the crowd went wild. The San Francisco and Anaheim deal went well due to the fact that the Angels beat the Giants in the World Series.

The Pro Stadium Trucks were very fast. Three drivers were out-classing the field. Brian Cavitt (22.23), Brian Spady (22.22) and Tom Jones (20.89). Tom won the final race over Brian Spady. Tom has to be the fastest PST driver in the country! He is so consistant which makes him tough to beat!

And for fun the "mini dwarf sprints" were cool! There was a field of 11, of which 6 were girls. The crowd gave the entire field a standing ovation. 8 year old Kenni won the race. Her interview was very cute. All the fans loved her!
