Weekend Race Recap
Chattanooga, TN (February 7-8, 2003)

Friday

There was a chill in the air outside, but inside the arena it was steaming.  The Cannon Lady awed the flash-bulb drenched crowd by flying through the air over 105 feet.

It was a night of GRAVE DIGGER and Ron Schmidt.

In Quad Wars, it became extremely quite inside the arena when the North All-Stars won the preliminary finals leading into Saturday's championship round.

Saturday
An unbelievable crowd screamed with enthusiasm as it was treated to a tremendous show.  Grave Digger and Ron Schmidt battled all night against the defending 2002 Thunder Nationals Champion - Diehl Wilson and Virginia Giant. But every time Grave Digger came out on top.   Except in the Donut Competition, which was won by Virginia Giant.

The Quad Wars championship was incredibly competitive between the North All-Stars and the South All-Stars.  It was a very heated contest all night, but finally, after some hug controversy, it was the South on top.
