Team Ohio smoked Team West Virginia in the first nad second heats of Quad Wars, but Team West Virginia finally put on the southern charm and won the main event.

The Monster Truck Doughnut contest was wild. Three-time world finals qualifier Avenger spun a hole in the floor for 29 big points!  Rap Attack scored 15, Wild Hair 23, Brutus shocked the crowd for 26, and then came the Doughnut Champion Rambo, who went 360 degrees for the win with a perfect scor 30 points.

In Monster Freestyle, Rambo, running on only 7 cylinders, scored 17 points.  Rap Attack got 20, Wild Hari and Avenger tied at 26, and Brutus got a great run and took the win with 27 points.

In side-by-side racing, Brutus got the by run for winning the freestyle. Wild Hair took out Ramo to advance on, and Rap Attack whipped up on Avenger to win Round 2.

Then in Round 2, Brutus took out Avenger to advance on, and Rap Attack beat Wild Hair.  In the main event, Rap Attack stuck on Wild Hair to become tonight's racing Champion.

Saturday
Tonight we started off with the Wheelie Contest.  Brutus spun off 21 points, Rambo 23, Avenger 24, Rap Attach nailed 26, and Jason Wittee in Wild Hair went vertical for the win and 29 points.

The Doughnut Contest got a little crazy tonight with three out of five trucks receiving perfect score for 3 outstanding performances.  Brutus wasn't able to find a sweet spot but was able to get 20 points.  The Rap Attack, better known as a Wheelie Truck, pulled off a pretty nice spin for 25 points.  Three-time Vegas qualifier Jim Koehler had Avenger hovering off the ground as they made 360 after 360 for 30 points.  Then Jason who just turned 29 years old, not to be out done turned up the heat for 30 points.  Two-time Thunder National Champion Mike Nitzie locked the front wheels and smoked the tires off for 30 points.  We had to break the tie and the crowd thought Avenger did the best job, so Jim Koehler took the win.

The freestyle got a little western when the first two trucks out , Rambo and Brutus, went 25 points.  Then with friends and family present, the Ohio native Dave Rappach took Rap Attach to the lead with 27 big ones.  Again, the new comer with Wild Hair earned the right to be in the lead with 29 points.  Then came Mr. Vegas himself, and by the way Jim Koehler ran his freestyle tonight he might have thought he was in the Sam Boyd Stadium going wild for another perfect score of 30 points.  See ya in Vegas, Jim.

The ride-and-grind stunt team wowed the crowd with sick tricks and huge air.

TIn Quad Wars, Team Ohio won both heat races, but in the finals, Team West Virginia led by Team Captain Bob DeWire pulled off another huge win!

In Round 1 of monster racing, Avenger got the freestyle win, Rap Attack took out Wild Hair to advance, and Brutus whipped Rambo.

In Round 2, Wild Hair capitalized on Mr. Vegas in Avenger, Rap Attack actually attacked any hope that Brutus had of advancing to the finals.

In monster finals, Wild Hair, from Washington, MO and driven by Jason Wittee, pulled up to the Dodge starting line against Friday night winner (an in-house favorite from Viena, Ohio) Dave Rappach in Rap Attack.  When the light turned green, those two trucks fired off the line with some extreme RPMs. Rap Attack took the win once again.
