Monster Jam Global Report

Authored by Monster Jam on November 14, 2022

Monster Jam® has become a worldwide phenomenon with substantial growth beyond North America. In 2016, Monster Jam visited Osaka, Japan and Frankfurt, Germany, for the first time, returned to Cardiff, Wales as well as completed annual visits to Mexico, Sweden and Spain.

For the fourth year, Monster Jam visited Australia, but this year’s stop was the longest ever with five cities on the schedule. A field of 10 Monster Jam trucks took on Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth, competing every Saturday in October.

Six different winners claimed Australian championships, led by Pirate’s CurseTM as Charlie Pauken scored four wheelie wins and two racing championships. Team Hot WheelsTM Firestorm with Scott Buetow recorded five Freestyle wins in seven tries. Grave Digger®, driven by Adam Anderson, took a pair of Racing wins and added three Wheelie titles for good measure. Neil Elliott in Max-DTM closed off with a Perth Double Down to go along with a previous Freestyle win. Monster Energy® with Damon Bradshaw and Alien InvasionTM with Chad Tingler each recorded a Racing win.

Monster Jam will return to San Juan, Puerto Rico Nov. 3-6. After a successful debut on the island in 2015, five shows will give the fans a chance to reconnect and give the fans who missed last year’s action a second chance.

For the first time ever, Monster Jam will have a presence in South America. Earlier this year, officials announced that Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, would play host to the historic occasion. The Monster Jam trucks are already on their way to South America for four shows to be held Dec. 9-11.
