Additional Driver Info He helped father build his first truck at the age of 15. He used to go to 5-6 shows each year with him just working to change tires and with the pit crew. He would occasionally drive the truck out of the shop, haul it over and load it up for his dad. Then he got married and had children and took a break for a while. In 2005 he helped his dad finish building the 2nd Devil’s Dodge with his dad. He took him to test the truck and he made 10-12 passes in the truck his first time around. They brought it back, took it apart, put it back together and painted it and stuff and went back to test it for the second time. This time around he made 35-40 passes with it, he raced and freestyled. Since then he has done 5-6 shows and has gotten some really good reviews from some of the veterans. His goal for this upcoming season is to do as many shows as possible and to land a spot in the finals. His favorite person to compete against is Allen Pizo because he respects him. Allen has been a friend of his fathers for years. He has given lil larry pointers from the beginning and has helped him set up his truck. Larry stands out from other drivers in that he is very competitive but also doesn’t mind losing. The advice he would give to others wanting to get into the industry is to start crewing and work hard through the ranks to get a seat. His hopes are that both of his sons are at all of his shows throughout the season.
