Jeff Bursey has always been a lifetime fan of monster trucks, but didn’t begin perusing his interest for the sport until he was 17. He started out by just building a truck, but never running it. Eventually, Jeff bought one and that’s the first one that he ran.
In addition to driving monster trucks full time, Bursey also is a contract/heavy equipment operator.
Looking forward to the upcoming season, Jeff says that he wants to put new, cool equipment on his truck and to a have a second truck by next year. His favorite career highlight so far has been earning the title as the NPRA president. On the road, his favorite stop is Providence, Rhode Island because he likes the arena/stadium. His favorite guy to race against is Pat Summa driver of Thrasher because they have been lifelong friends. Jeff feels he stands out above all the other drives because he believes that he can drive backwards better than most.
The advice he would give to people out there is that through hard work you can make your dreams come true. “All you have to do is work hard, say no to drugs and be prepared to work very hard!”
