It may have been snowing outside, but the interactive Milwaukee crowd was ready to see eight Monster Jam trucks tear up the dirt at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The road to the Monster Jam World Finals started with the Monster Jam Wheelie competition. Each Monster Jam Truck would circle the track to get two hits on the crushed cars. Second year driver, Trent Montgomery, and Iron Outlaw would come out of the gates flying with a score of 20. Iron Outlaw would have a hold on the lead till the sixth Monster Jam Truck and 2013 Rising Star of the Year award winner, Devin Jones in Barbarian would post a leading score of 21. Barbarian showed why he was a Rising Star in 2013 to take the Monster Jam Wheelie Championship.

The Monster Jam Trucks had found their groove during the wheelie competition and were fired up to see who would win the Monster Jam Racing Championship on the Road to the Monster Jam World Finals 15. The first matchup would see an upset with Thunder 4x4 winning over Grave Digger. Joey Parnell and Man of Steel not only flew in out of Metropolis, but Man of Steel was the winner over veteran driver Mike Vaters and Black Stallion in the second round. Iron Outlaw got a great start to take out Barbarian and stop him from winning two competitions in a row. Bounty Hunter advanced past Overkill Evolution. In the Monster Jam Semifinals it was Thunder 4x4 continuing his winning streak on to the Championship Round Race. In the second semifinal Iron Outlaw would be declared the winner after Bounty Hunter was disqualified for not hitting both tires on the ramp. In the Monster Jam Championship Round Race it was Trent Montgomery and Iron Outlaw getting his first racing championship of the Monster Jam season.

The first Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Freestyle of the weekend in Milwaukee was headlined by some big tricks and it’s only the first show of the weekend! Iron Outlaw started out on top with a score of 20 supplemented by his slap wheelie that he produced off his first jump. After four Monster Jam Trucks, Iron Outlaw would find himself in a tie for first with Monster Jam Racing finalist Thunder 4x4 and Jim Bendzick. Mr. Rising Star, Devin Jones and Barbarian stated that he wanted to sweep all the competitions earlier in the night, so he completed his Fox Sports 1 Freestyle to tally a score of 24 and the new leader. This only left one Monster Jam Truck left as the bells started ringing for Randy Brown and Grave Digger. Grave Diggers cross threads on some of the jumps and massive air in the BMO Harris Bradley Center were enough to be crowned the Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Freestyle Champion with a score of 27. Thank you to all the Milwaukee Fans who cheered for a great night of Monster Jam, As Big As It Gets!

The second show of the Monster Jam As Big It Gets World tour was off to a great start after a capacity crowd at the Party in the Pits before the show. The great Milwaukee fans were on the edge of their seats as the Monster Jam trucks came out to a great introduction.

In the Monster Jam Wheelie competition, the fans were on their feet for the jaw dropping sky wheelies from Trent Montgomery and Iron Outlaw for a leading score of 25. The next closest truck that would challenge Iron Outlaw would be a second place finish from the veteran driver, Mike Vaters and Black Stallion with a score of 23. Iron Outlaw would add to his racing title from Friday night’s show and hang on to be the Monster Jam Wheelie Champion.

The next element to hit the floor was the popular Monster Jam Racing competition. Accelerating through the first round was Randy Brown and Grave Digger by making up for his Friday night matchup loss against Thunder 4x4. Black Stallion, Barbarian and Overkill Evolution would all find themselves primed and ready to challenge their competition on the Monster Jam Semifinals. Grave Digger and his crew had the Monster Jam truck dialed in as he would advance to the finals. Friday night’s Monster Jam Wheelies champion, Devin Jones and Barbarian, would find himself one step closer to another championship here in Milwaukee as he would edge out Michael Vaters, Jr. and Overkill Evolution. The Road to the Monster Jam World Finals 15 was making a pit stop in Milwaukee as we were down to two Monster Jam Trucks in the championship race. Grave Digger and Randy Brown would get his second championship trophy of the weekend by crossing the finish line first over Barbarian.

Saturday afternoon’s Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Freestyle had some Wow moments as each Monster Jam Truck treated the fans to some Slap Wheelies, Big Airs and Power Wheelies. All the Monster Jam Trucks new they needed to leave it all on the floor, because with Monster Jam, it’s As Big As It Gets! Overkill Evolution and Michael Vaters, Jr. had been working on his Monster Jam Truck before the show and the extra work paid off as he was in the lead through the first five Monster Jam Trucks with a 21. Joey Parnell was in Milwaukee last year and he was excited to show the fans Man of Steel’s new look by flying around the Fox Sports 1 Freestyle course for a tying score of 21. Devin Jones and Barbarian were up next and he knew if he wanted to break that tie, he would have to change up his run. Barbarian would do just that by adding to his trophy room and winning the Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Freestyle with a championship score of 24.

That was a wrap on the Saturday afternoon show with another pumped up Milwaukee crowd! Can’t wait to see all the fans at the last show Saturday night at 7pm! Big thanks to all that came out.

The final Monster Jam show of the weekend in Milwaukee had the setting for greatness as the eight Monster Jam Trucks were ready to show the crowd what Monster Jam was all about. The on your feet Milwaukee fans started the cheering early with the Mini Moto competition that featured Team Minnesota going up against Team Wisconsin. Team Wisconsin would capture the main event.
Kicking off the Monster Jam Wheelie Competition would be the Saturday afternoon Wheelie Champion of Trent Montgomery and Iron Outlaw with a score of 22. Iron Outlaw turned his Monster Jam Truck mid air on both hits over the crushed cars to take home his second Monster Jam Wheelie Championship of the Milwaukee weekend.
Over thirty years of bad to the bone with Randy Brown in Grave Digger would be too much for Thunder 4x4 in round one of the Monster Jam Racing Competition, as Grave Digger was moving on to the Semifinals. With his brand new Monster Jam Truck body, it was Joey Parnell in Man of Steel defeating Mike Vaters Sr. in the next matchup. With one Monster Jam Racing championship under his belt this weekend, Trent Montgomery in Iron Outlaw had the confidence and the speed to motor past Barbarian into the semifinals. With only one race left Michael Vaters Jr. was in the zone as he would battle past Darren Migues in Bounty Hunter to be our last semifinalist. One of the up in coming rivalries for the early Monster Jam season is Randy Brown in Grave Digger competing against Joey Parnell in Man of Steel. The semifinal did not disappoint for the great Monster Jam fans of Milwaukee. Grave Digger would live to see another championship race as he would hit the last turn just right to move on. The second semifinal featured two potential Monster Jam Young Guns Shootout drivers with Overkill Evolution and Michael Vaters, Jr. getting a great start to take out Trent Montgomery and Iron Outlaw. The Road to the Monster Jam World Finals 15 went through Milwaukee with the Championship Round Race featuring Grave Digger eyeing down second year driver Michael Vaters, Jr. in Overkill Evolution. Michael Vaters, Jr. was still in the zone and stayed focus enough to upset Grave Digger for his first Monster Jam Racing Championship.

The Monster Jam Fox Sports 1 Freestyle kicked off with the weekends first Pogo wheelie, when the Monster Jam Trucks Pogo across the crush cars on a wheelie, by Iron Outlaw. Iron Outlaw transitioned that trick into a slap wheelie across the BMO Harris Bradley center floor for a score of 22. Iron Outlaw was sitting in the hot seat lead with a close challenger in Black Stallion compiling a score of 20 for his run, but it would not be enough tonight. Man of Steel changed up his run tonight with two big airs over the freestyle motocross jump to get the crowd fired up. Next up was a man who has yet to win a freestyle championship, Devin Jones in Barbarian and a tying score of 22! Randy Brown and Grave Digger saw the green lights and headed out onto the track to see if he could break the tie and win the title. Grave Digger was going As Big As It Gets as he would roll over on one of his last hits on the ramp. Randy Brown and Grave Digger were safe enough to land him in second place. Edging out Grave Digger would be your first time this seasons Fox Sports 1 Freestyle Champion of Devin Jones and Barbarian.

We cannot thank the Milwaukee Monster Jam fans for coming out and cheering for your favorite Monster Jam Drivers. We hope you enjoyed the show and we can’t wait to come back to Milwaukee, January 16 and 17, 2015! Thank you again!
