Saturday 8:00pm

The rain held off tonight and the track dried off enough to get the equipment out and work in the dirt for the sold out crowd that was on hand. The action was great as there was standing room only where the awesome Monster Jam fans got to see Son-uva Digger sweep tonight's event.

The first event of the night was the wheelie contest and Ryan Anderson showed the fans the way a wheelie is done in a 10,000 lb. Monster Jam truck. Son-uva Digger won the event with a high score of 21 edging out a new fan favorite Scooby Doo by one point. Higher Education and Black Stallion tied for third.

Racing was very close in all rounds including the finals which matched up the veteran Mike Vatters with Black Stallion against the young Anderson in Son-uva Digger. That race was a photo finish whit Ryan taking his second Championship trophy only to give it away to a lucky fan. Ryan made it to the finals with wins over Higher education in round one and Grave Digger in the Semi final. Black Stallion made it to the finals with a first round win over Gun Slinger and a semi final win over Scooby Doo.

Freestyle was the high light for the Monster Jam fans as six out of the seven Monster Jam Trucks have competed at the World finals and now they were here to lay it on the line for Hagerstown. The battle came down to the final pair Grave Digger and Son-uva Digger who needed to top the high score of Captains Curse who was in the hot seat with a score of 23. Ryan wanted badly to double down and sweep the night and it showed with some sick air and spectacular driving skills that would give him the final win with a score of 27. Grave Digger came up short with a 25 which was good enough for second. Randy Brown told the fans after his freestyle run that he was so excited to be back to Hagerstown not only for the fans but to compete against the highly talented group of Monster Jam drivers that were here tonight.

Hagerstown Speedway has a rich history of Motor Sports and Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam has been a part of that history since the early 1980's. The huge crowds that were on hand this weekend were treated to the ongoing tradition that Monster Jam has brought to this area. With awesome wheelies high flying action along with the interaction of the Monster Jam drivers that keep bringing the fans back to Hagerstown year after year.

The day started off with the wheelie contest as Captains Curse wowed the fans with a tail dragging wheelie that gave him the top score of 24. From there quad wars was next as the rivalry of team Baltimore vs. team New York continued with team Baltimore winning the Main heat and pleasing the Maryland fans. Racing was next and now with a perfect record Son-uva Digger can say he is undefeated in Hagerstown! The young Anderson beat Grave Digger in the finals by a call of a photo finish, but Grave Digger would get him back in freestyle as he would win that event by one point or Son-uva Digger.
