The weather in Quincy simply could not have been better. The weather was cool but the action and the Quincy crowd were absolutely awesome!!

The lineup for Quincy was spectacular with 6 incredible Monster Jam Trucks and 6 World Class Monster Jam Drivers!! The lineup looked like this:
Grave Digger® driven by Gary Porter, Monster Mutt® driven by Scott Liddycoat, SupermanTM driven by Frank Krmel, Higher Education driven by Jim Tracy, Black Stallion driven by Mike Vaters and Max-DSM driven by Morgan Kane.

With the blue sky and a ton of cool sunshine Quincy was set for a tremendous night of Monster Jam action.

Scott Liddycoat made his first public runs tonight in a Monster Jam truck. Although not new to motorsports, Liddycoat found that 66 inch terra tires are quite different than the sponsors he was accustomed to in the unlimited Hydoplane's he was familiar with. Liddycoat is an Unlimited Hydroplane world champion. The transition to Monster Jam trucks was a handful but he performed like a pro.

Wheelies were simply astounding.
Grave Digger®: 24 Winner
Monster Mutt®: 15
SupermanTM: 21
Higher Education: 22
Black Stallion: Mike Vaters 16
Max-DSM: 23

Monster Jam straight-line racing would prove to be challenging in the first round. Max-D went out with a transmission issue that would come back again later in the evening.

Round 1 Racing:
Higher Education would get the bye run as Max-D couldn't report to the line with a broken input shaft on the transmission.
Superman would take our Black Stallion. Black Stallion would return to the semi's as fast loser.
Grave Digger bested Monster Mutt

Round 2 Racing:
Higher Education would beat Black Stallion.
Superman outraced Grave Digger.

Superman and Frank Krmel squeaked by Jim Tracy and Higher Education in a very close UTI championship racing round. Congrats to Superman on the big racing win tonight in Quincy!

Monster Jam Freestyle was just off the chain tonight although that pesky transmission problem would take Morgan Kane and Max-D out without filling the clock.

Grave Digger®: 25 Winner
Monster Mutt®: 17
SupermanTM: 22
Higher Education: 22
Black Stallion: 19
Max-DSM: 14 (Out early with a bad input shaft on the transmission)

Our street warriors were fantastic tonight with some awesome times on a really tricky track setup.
We are back tomorrow night and Saturday night for two more big shows. 7pm both nights. Don't forget we have a pit party Saturday at 5pm.
See you again soon!! Thanks for the party Quincy!

Day two and still the weather in Quincy simply could not have been better. The weather was cool but the action and the Quincy crowd were absolutely awesome!!

The lineup for Quincy was spectacular with 6 incredible Monster Jam Trucks and 6 World Class Monster Jam Drivers!! The lineup looked like this:
Grave Digger® driven by Gary Porter, Monster Mutt® driven by Scott Liddycoat, Superman™ driven by Frank Krmel, Higher Education driven by Jim Tracy, Black Stallion driven by Mike Vaters and Max-D℠ driven by Morgan Kane!!

With the blue sky and a ton of cool sunshine Quincy was set for a tremendous night of Monster Jam action.

Max D with Morgan Kane aboard has been plagued all weekend with Transmission problems. The awesome UTI Techs kept replacing transmission parts to keep Max D chugging along but a full blown overhaul tonight should have Max D ready for tomorrow’s show!

Scott Liddycoat made his second public runs tonight in a Monster Jam truck. Although not new to motorsports, Liddycoat found that 66 inch terra tires are quite different than the sponsons he was accustomed to in the unlimited Hydoplane’s he was familiar with. Liddycoat is an Unlimited Hydroplane world champion. The transition to Monster Jam trucks was a handful but he performed like a pro again tonight.

Wheelies were simply astounding.

Higher Education: 25
Black Stallion: 20
Max-D℠: 22

The UTI techs did a great job switching out the RII between Max D and Superman to keep both trucks up and running. Between the Max- D transmission issues and the RII issue on Superman the UTI trained Techs had their hands full. Hats off to the guys in the pits!

Monster Jam straight-line racing would prove to be challenging in the first round. Once again Max D went out with a transmission issue that would come back again later in the evening.
Round 1 Racing:
Higher Education would defeat Grave Digger in the first round. Max D suffered another broken input shaft on the transmission and lost in the first round to Black Stallion. Superman outpaced Monster Mutt to advance to the semifinal round.
Grave Digger returned to the semi’s as the fast loser.

Round 2 racing:
Grave Digger would beat Black Stallion.
Superman outraced Higher Education to advance to the UTI Championship round.

Superman and Frank Krmel ultimately claimed the UTI championship racing round. Congrats to Superman on the big racing win for the second night in a row in Quincy!

Monster Jam Freestyle was just off the chain tonight…… although that pesky transmission problem held off long enough for Morgan Kane and Max-D to fill the clock. Immediately after the run Max D went down again…... but not before laying down an awesome 25 point freestyle! Long night ahead for the UTI Max-D team. They have assured us they will be ready for Saturday’s show!!
