Friday Night

Our Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam show tonight featured a Thunder Nationals format which added the Donut Competition to our already jam packed show! The Wheelie Competition got us going and we certaintly had an upset winner! Instigator came out first posting a 14 followed by Illuminator at a 16 and Bad New Travels Fast notching a leading 24. Blue Thunder followed with his 17 and Iron Man came close scoring a 22. Rap Attack was no match for Bad News Travels Fast as he could only muster a 6.

Monster Jam Racing brackets would follow thereafter which saw Illuminator fall to Iron Man, Blue Thunder defeat Rap Attack and Instigator send Bad News Travels Fast packing. The semi final round would see Bad News Travels Fast returning as fast loser, only to fall to Iron Man and then Instigator wasn’t able to fire which brought Illuminator back to meet Blue Thunder who ended up prevailing in that race. The UTI Championship round would cap us off in racing and it was Lee O’Donnell in Iron Man that was able to be the only driver with a chance for Double Down glory tonight!

Saturday 2pm

Two Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Championship elements this afternoon ended up with perfect scores as the ravenous fans poured into the WesBanco Arena in Wheeling WV. Our first showcase was the wheelie competition and Instigator started us off with a 17 followed by Illuminator’s 20. Then Bad News Travels Fast took the lead with a 24 and Blue Thunder struggled notching a 17. The 27 that Iron Man put up took the lead but it was Rap Attack stealing the show with a perfect score of 30! His Monster Jam Truck sky wheelied and landed on only the left rear tire as he walked it across the crush cars. The fans went crazy when the perfect scores came up!
