Neil Elliot was in the position to take the triple threat hit in Trenton…. Would he hold on to win racing and Free Style? Time would tell!!
Monster Racing…….. was incredible. Racing was filled with surprises and twists as the rounds unfolded.
Round 1 racing…….
Max D took out Higher Education. El Toro Loco took out Instigator. And Bad News shutdown Shockwave! Fast loser was Instigator.
Semi-Finals racing was a little strange in how it all worked out…… El Toro Loco won in the first round but broke a front axle on landing. That prevented him from moving on to the semi’s while the Max D Crew worked hard to get Max D ready for Free style. That changed the semi bracket by moving Higher education into the semi’s and the fast loser was Instigator.
In the semi’s
Instigator took out Higher Education and El Toro Loco beat Bad News travels fast.
The UTI Championship round would ultimately go to El Toro Loco….. Destroying the hopes of Max D for the triple threat but opening the door for El Toro Loco to double down!
Freestyle was incredible……… Every driver and every truck was back in the mix as Max D’s crew got him ready for Free Style.

Monster Racing…….. was incredible. Racing was filled with surprises and twists as the rounds unfolded.
Round 1 racing…….
Bad News took out Shock Wave. El Toro Loco took out Instigator. And Max D shutdown Higher Education! Fast loser was Instigator.
Racing turned out to be really weird in that yesterday El Toro Loco broke a planetary in the first round and came back to win racing…… this afternoon…… Max D broke a planetary and came back for the win….. just a really strange coincidence…..
Semi-Finals racing was a little strange in how it all worked out…… Max D won in the first round but broke a planetary on landing. The fast loser was Instigator.

Saturday 7:30pm

The Max D Decade of destruction tour lived up to it’s name in Trenton this weekend and especially tonight WOW….. WOW….WOW!!! At one point every truck in the house had some sort of damage!! But as usual the UTI trained mechanics and crew teams put them right back together and kept the Decade of destruction…….. Destructive.

Racing would be challenging for El Toro Loco, Max D and Bad News Travels Fast. Lots of breakage for all three. All were significant Drive train issues. Bad news literally broke his front axle housing and between El Toro Loco and Max D those guys had four different drive train issues causing them to miss much of racing after round one and El Toro Loco and Bad News just simply weren’t able to get everything put back to together for the night.
Round 1 racing…….
El Toro Loco took out Shock Wave. Higher Education beat out Max D. And Instigator shutdown Bad News Travels Fast! Fast loser was El Toro Loco. BUT…… there is more to this story….. Some really interesting twists and turns……. Although El Toro won round one…. He was out for the night with drive train issues.
Semi-Finals racing was over the top with everyone going all out leaving it all on the track for our Trenton Monster Jam fans. …… Bad News Travels Fast sheered an axle housing in half on his winning run. That positioned Shockwave to advance to the UTI final. Instigator took down Higher Education in the semis.
The UTI Championship round would ultimately go to Instigator and Paul Breaud…..
Freestyle was incredible……… Both El Toro Loco and Bad news were out going into freestyle and The UTI Teams were thrashing hard on Max D. It wasn’t clear if Max D would make it to Freestyle or not. All the trucks did incredible Freestyle runs and YES Max D would make it back at the very last possible moment….. not only did Max D make it back but Neil and Max D laid down a JAW DROPPING freestyle for the win. An emotional Neil Elliot called his crew and crew chief out after the free style to thank them for all their hard work to get Max D back in the game. The Crew had been doing that all weekend and really made the difference this weekend! Thank you CREW!!
