Friday night

Friday 7:30 p.m. –
Mobile, Alabama night one in the books! The Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Trucks in Mobile tonight were as follows:
Grave Digger (Pablo Huffaker), El Matador (Daron Basl), El Toro Loco (Aaron Basl), Advance Auto Parts Grinder (Lupe Soza), King Krunch (Lionel Easler), Monster Mutt Dalmatian (Candice Jolly)

The night started off with Team Georgia upsetting Team Alabama in the Quad Wars! After that we really got into the nitty gritty with Monster Jam Wheelies. Each truck came out and felt that they had a score to settle, but in the end it would be an amazing effort from none other than The People’s Truck, Advance Auto parts Grinder. Lupe Soza came to Alabama and on night one owned the Wheelies with a score of 24, beating the next closest truck by 4 points. That truck was King Krunch, and that Monster Jam truck would later bring the crowd to its feet in another event here at the Mobile Civic Center.

Universal Technical Institute Monster Jam Racing would see King Krunch earn a first round pass against the clock as Grave Digger was being fixed with a transmission issue. Candice Jolly in Monster Mutt Dalmatian would fall to last year’s racing winner here in Mobile Alabama, El Matador. This was a test for Daron Basl to see if he could continue his winning ways from last year right here at this very civic center. With El Matador through to the next round we would line up El Toro Loco and the peoples truck Advance Auto Parts Grinder in a race that would come down to mere inches only to see Grinder take the checkered flag! That would set up a final four here sure to please the good size crowd at the Mobile Civic Center! First match up would see Monster Mutt Dalmatian edge out El Toro Loco, setting up a man vs women final to set the boys against the girls! El Matador would come out and see if there was still some magic left from last year’s racing sweep right here in the same place! The answer was, NO! Advance Auto Parts Grinder would sprint past last year’s champion and claim the boys spot in the UTI racing finals.
Once the dust settled, and the side were chosen, Monster Mutt Dalmatian, would take the checkered flag and bring the civic center to its feet as Candace Jolly would raise the racing trophy on night one.
